Christina is an inquisitive and well-behaved teen who is always eager to help out.
At school, Christina is on target grade-wise and performs well in her special education classes, which address her developmental delays. Her favorite subject is art. At home, Christina enjoys playing outside, watching TV, doing artwork and doing chores and other family tasks. She also likes to be involved in church activities and hang out with her friends.
A generous and kind young lady, she likes to care for animals. Christina would like to attend college and work with or provide care for animals professionally someday.
The family who welcomes Christina into their family will need to support her desire to maintain relationships with four siblings placed separately. This family will also need to support ongoing therapy, advocate for her in the school system regarding her need for ongoing tutoring and work with her at home to strengthen her reading and other academic skills.
